Equipment used: Archer V-100 and U-100 antennas at 25 feet
| These are a sampling of some of the better pics I was able to take directly off a TV Screen. The TV's were a SONY 12" Trinitron, and a Zenith 17" B/W. These images were taken in the late 1960's through the mid 1970's. One of the more interesting images below was WJMY Ch20 Allen Park (Detroit). This station was only on the air for tests in 1968 and never had any programming. I caught one of the few air tests they ever made. Shortly after the tests WXON, then on Ch62, bought the station and moved down to Ch20. Another interesting "catch" was CBEFT Ch78 in Windsor (now on Ch54) during the pre-cell phone days when we still had all UHF channels up to Ch83. |
